After the parade we left and headed to Rogers, AR to hang out with Jeff's best friend Jayson and his wife Lisa. We got down there around 6pm, went out to dinner and headed back to the house. As I was getting ready to put Maddox to bed he started throwing up and I'm not gonna lie I freaked out. Dude, it was scary. He's never had a tummy bug before and this was like you know, grown up, real human vomit. You could tell he was so confused and scared. It's so sad because they have no idea what's going on. Poor kiddo. After I got him cleaned up he seemed fine and I wasn't sure if maybe it was something he ate so we decided to stay. Jeff went to Walmart to get some supplies (M did end up with some Razor back PJs so not a completely wasted trip). About an hour later I heard him coughing and ran in the room and he was getting sick again and so we decided to head home. We didn't have much of a choice since pretty much all his clothes and blankets, sheets etc were dirty. Poor Jayson and Lisa were great and I feel really bad for their laundry machine. They sent us home with some towels and we used them as we had to stop several times for him to get sick on the drive back. It was not a fun drive. We got home around 12:00am or so but didn't get to bed until around 1am because poor Maddox just kept getting sick. He was pretty pitiful yesterday and just laid around the house on one of our laps. I stayed home with him today and he was pretty tired and didn't have much of an appetite. I am planning on sending him to school tomorrow as long as he seems okay in the morning. Apparantly everyone in the world has this little tummy bug. He never ran a fever and as far as the vomiting at least it only lasted a short time. Sick kiddos are no fun. So now the major issue is what to do with all the Halloween candy. We turned off our lights and didn't do trick or treaters since M wasn't feeling well. I guess I'll just have to take one for the team.

Such a cute little zebra! He is so happy -- hard to believe he got violently ill just hours later.
P.S. That picture of Brookside was awesome. Did anyone else notice the HUUUUUUUGE flannel-clad dude just to the right of Parker?? Please God tell me that was a costume and not everyday attire... :)
sorry that your little guy was / is sicky. hopefully he's feeling better and mama can breathe normally!
on the upside, that last picture kinda looks like he's saying, "come pick me up, auntie m." i wish i could oblige.
Ah, I saw your little zebra on the run!! So cute! And, so sorry he was sick this weekend. Totally feel your pain- the vomiting stuff scared me to death, and I think it scared Leighton as well, judging from the startled look on her face :( Poor kiddos, hope all of these little bugs/viruses are gone SOON.
oh poor baby! but he does look utterly adorable!
ZEEEEEEEEEBRRRRRRRRRRRA.
Poor widdle Maddox getting sicky! :( That photo of you and him at the race is sheer adorableness. I am so glad I got to play for a little bit on Saturday and see your little man in his zebra attire! So cute so cute!
